Yolanda graduated as a Mining Engineer from Oviedo University and is currently Director of the Environment, Sustainability, Innovation and Quality at EDP in Spain and member of the EDP Group’s Stakeholder Management, Sustainability and Innovation committees.
During her professional career, she has actively been involved in the regulation of the electricity sector in the liberalised environment and, among other project, she headed the negotiations regarding the application of emissions trading, the environmental adaptation of the electricity production power plants to European requirements or the implementation of Quality and Environment Management Systems and continuous improvement programmes.
Since 2014, her responsibilities have also included managing the stakeholders of the EDP Group in Spain.
