Born in San Sebastián in 1975, I have lived in Barcelona, Bordeaux and Santiago de Chile. I qualified as an Architect at the Bordeaux Landscape and Architecture School and completed a DEA post-graduate diploma in architectural projects at the San Sebastián School of Architecture. I have been a member of the Official Association of Architects of the Basque Country and Navarra (COAVN) since 2002. I founded the HTC Arquitectos studio and was chair of ATARI, an architecture cultural association, in its early years. I was also a councillor at Zarautz local council from 2015 to 2017 in charge of Development Cooperation. I currently head the Basque Government’s Architecture and Housing Directorate.
