Graduated in Life Sciences in 1997, specialising in the Ecosystems and Technical fields. University Master’s Degree in Environmental Assessment and Recovery.
In recent years, Óscar has worked on different projects related to calculating sustainability in the livestock farming sector of the Basque Country. Special mention should be made of the following:
- LIFE AGROLCAMANAGER project: LIFE10 ENV/ES/486– “Software for the Sustainable Environmental Management of Agri-food Companies”.
- LIFE SigAgroasesor project: LIFE+11 ENV/ES/641-“Tool for crop sustainable management”.
- LIFE SEED CAPITAL project: LIFE/ENV/ES/000590-“Integral use of rapeseed to reduce greenhouse gas emission in farming”.
- LIFE Regen Farming project. LIFE12 ENV/ES/000232-“Regenerative agriculture practices: Demonstration of a sustainable management alternative for livestock farming land”.
Óscar is currently an external consultant in the LIFE BEEF CARBON project. LIFE14 CCM/FR/001125 – “Demonstration actions to mitigate the carbon footprint of beef production in France, Ireland, Italy and Spain”, developing a tool for ASOPROVAC (Spanish Association of Beef Producers) to calculate the carbon footprint of the beef sector.
