Markel Cormenzana

Markel has focused his career on exploring Design (Product, Service, Systems, User Experience, etc.) and innovation to address systematic and complex problems in order to align sustainability, innovation, design and competitiveness. In the field of ecoinnovation consultancy, Markel has led, through Inèdit, projects with some of the leading international and Spanish companies in environmental innovation and ecodesign. Between 2012 and 2014, he was at the head of the Technical Secretariat of the Ideas Laboratory of the Basque Ecodesign Center. He is part of the European group of experts on green entrepreneurship (UNEP- SwitchMED). He combines his consultancy work with research projects and teaching at different design schools in Barcelona.
