As Marine Engineer with different degrees of responsibility up to Chief Engineer Officer, and managing national and international crews , I was in charge of the operation and the corrective and preventive maintenance of different vessel’s machinery , for Propulsion, Cargo Handling , Essential and Auxiliary Systems , reporting to the Owner ´s Superintendents . At Tratamientos y Controles Técnicos S.A., providing consulting services in Analysis of Mechanical Vibrations.

I was employed by LRS as Engineer Surveyor being assigned initially to LR Algeciras Office, which also included Gibraltar and Eastern Andalusia areas. In 1990 , I was transferred to LR Cadiz Office, achieving the dual designation as Ship and Engineer Surveyor in 1994 , and being promoted to Senior Surveyor in 1997 .
In 1994, I spent several months at LR Valparaiso (Chile), at the request of the Country Manager, to give assistance to the local staff during the reorganization of the Office. During that time, Marine and Industrial surveys were performed across the Country.
In October 1997 I was transferred to LR San Sebastián as Surveyor in Charge.
In February 1999 I was appointed as In-Service Training Officer (Eng.) for the Bilbao District.
In November 2004 I was transferred to LR Bilbao, becoming District Business Manager for Marine and E&T Divisions.
In July 2006, I was appointed Marine Division Manager for the Northern District of Spain.
In July 2007, I was appointed Senior Engineer Surveyor for Spain.
In January 2011, I was appointed Office Manager for shared resources.
