Jabier Retegi

PhD in Engineering from the UPC, Engineering Degree in Industrial Organisation and Master’s Degree in Applied Sciences (M.Sc.A.) from Polytechnique Montréal and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MU.
In the industrial field, Jabier has held posts as Industrial Director, R&D Director and Strategic Alliance Director of the Fagor Group and Chair of the Governing Board. He has also been a member of the Corporación Mondragon Standing Committee and of the Board of different companies, including Ikerlan, CIC Energigune and CECED (European Committee of Domestic Equipment Manufacturers).

Jabier has also been active in the academic world, where he has been a lecturer at the Industrial Organisation Department, Director of Continuous Training and General Director at the MU Higher Polytechnic School, as well as being a Member of the Mondragon Unibertsitatea Supervisory Board.

Jabier currently combines his professional pursuits at Mondragon Unibertsitatea and at Orkestra as an associate researcher.
