David Hernández Simón, who graduated in Law, has worked in the legal profession, teaching and Integrated Management Systems, particularly in the areas of safety, quality and the environment.
David joined Vicinay Cadenas in 2008 in the Health and Safety division. He subsequently moved to the Environmental Department, where he began to work on the lifecycle assessments leading to the certification and publication of the different Type III Ecolabels (Environmental Product Declarations) for the whole Vicinay product range, which was the first company of its sector to do so.
In 2014, he became Head of the Integrated Management Systems Division (Quality, Safety and the Environment) until the Organisation was moved to the new Sestao premises.
He currently coordinates the Integrated Management System process (safety, quality and the environment) at Vicinay Sestao. He is a member of the Basque Ecodesign Center Management Committee.
