We need new skills based on experience, cooperation, new technical expertise and a change in companies’ attitudes and operating methods in order to create a new society based on the circular economy principles. Professionals, experts and decision-makers must play a key role in the construction of this new future. And education plays a decisive role throughout by supporting the development of new experts.
The Basque Ecodesign HUB was therefore set up as the centre of the training activity in Ecodesign and the Circular Economy in the Basque Country. Located in Bilbao, the initiative is open to all the universities and vocational training centres of the Basque Country (both public and private).
This forum will consider the objectives of the initiative, the first results achieved and the future commitment to networking to offer future professionals the opportunity to acquire knowledge about the circular economy as they acquire their own technical expertise.
