Ainara Basurko

Ainara Basurko graduated in Economic Law from Deusto University and also completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the same university. Ainara began her professional career at the strategic consultancy at LKS S. Coop, before moving on to be Director of the Azaro Foundation and of the Lea Artibai Supramunicipal Development Agency. Both entities are tasked with driving the economic development of this supramunicipal district.

In 2015, she was appointed as the General Manager of Beaz, the publicly-owned entity answering to the Territorial and Economic Development Department at Bizkaia Provincial Council, whose mission is to drive the entrepreneurship and competitiveness of the province’s business fabric.
