PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- As part of her activity in the training field, Maria Jose has worked with ISA 2000 since 2008 to create manuals for workers accessing the construction sector to obtain the qualification of Occupational Health and Safety Technician.
- Within the timber sector, she spent three years on an Innovation Project coordinated with Tknika on Ecodesign in the timber and furniture sector, and subsequently provided consultancy services to companies in that sector.
- Maria Jose is currently heading the Innovation Project on characterising woods for structural use, which involves conducting non-constructive tests to estimate the quality of the timber and subsequently apply them in companies of the sector.
- She participates and works with different entities and associations of the timber sector, offering courses and seminars on timber characterisation for structural use.
- Maria Jose participates and works with the National Agricultural Research Institute on actions to improve the natural durability of the wood.
- Member No. 1170 of the Professional Association of Agricultural Technical Engineers, for the free pursuit of the profession, in the management and supervising of works, as works manager and safety coordinator.
