Sustainability and Scientific Communication Director for Southern Europe.
Born in Caracas on 17 May 1972, Elio Estevez is married and has lived in Madrid since 1999.
Graduated in Biology from the Simón Bolívar University (Caracas, Venezuela) and has an International MBA from the Industrial Organisation School (EOI) in Madrid. Elio began his career at P&G at R&D Latin America, where he developed new products for a large number of markets. He then moved to Madrid where he joined the External Relations Department, with responsibility in different areas such as regulatory services, public relations and scientific communication. In 2009, Elio moved to Geneva where he was Olay Head of Scientific Communication for Europe. He returned to Madrid in 2011 to work in the beauty categories and is currently Director of Scientific Communication and Sustainability for Southern Europe.

Elio is passionate about scientific dissemination and is a member of the Spanish Scientific Communication Association (AECC). What he most enjoys about his job is translating the science behind the P&G products into relevant messages that are easily understandable for everyone, including scientific publications, technology, human safety and environmental sustainability.
